This morning was chilly and calm. The Bomber topwater has been crushing them this year so I had to keep using it.

On something like the 3rd twitch he started following it making big swirls behind it. He smacked at it making my lure go under, then smacked at it a few more times, then finally half way to the boat, he got himself hooked and started peeling my drag….in the opposite direction.

Looking for weeds to get free, he went to deeper water. Silly fish. He eventually got tired and was face to face with my net.
