Went fishing with Captain Ed. It was overcast but was windy out there but we decided to go anyway – it wasn’t white capping atleast.

Got to our spot and was just shooting the breeze and I see this huge well of water behind the lure I was working. Swish..swish.. side to side it goes, then water erupts beneath it, making me lose my groove.

I thought he gave up but finally this beast of a fish 37 inches long attacks my lure like it was starving and hadn’t eaten for a month.  He snatched it and took off.  Ripping my drag easily, he went around the boat and spun us 3 times before finally getting him netted and saying cheese for the camera.
